Privacy Policy

MediaComm respects your privacy and handles your personal information responsibly. We collect and use your data only to provide, improve, and secure our services — and only as described in this Privacy Policy. Your consent to the MediaComm Service Agreement means you agree to this Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of that agreement.

1. What Information We Collect
• When you visit our website or use our services (including desktop or mobile apps), we automatically collect technical and usage data: IP address, browser type and language, device model, OS, resolution, carrier, location (if enabled), and pages or features accessed.
• We may also receive your personal data from trusted business partners, where legally permitted.

2. How We Use Your Information
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with unrelated third parties — unless you explicitly consent, or a partner helps deliver a service you requested (and is contractually restricted from further use).
• We prohibit unauthorized collection, editing, sale, or distribution of your data by any user or third party. Violations result in immediate termination of service.
• With your consent, we may share limited data with partners so they can send you relevant offers about their products or services.
• We use your information to detect fraud, prevent abuse, enforce our policies, and protect users and our systems.

3. When We Disclose Information
We may disclose your information only in these cases:
• With your prior consent;
• To comply with applicable law or valid legal process;
• To enforce our Terms, investigate violations, or protect safety, rights, or property;
• To provide a service you requested (e.g., payment processing or technical support);
• As otherwise required or permitted by law.

4. Storage and Transfer
Your data is stored on MediaComm Mei Kai’s or its affiliates’ servers. It may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your country — including where we operate or store data — subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
• We use cookies to enable login, personalize content and ads, and analyze service usage. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit access to certain features.
• All data collected via cookies is governed by this Privacy Policy.

6. Security
• Your account is protected by encryption and backup systems. Still, no online system is 100% secure — please safeguard your credentials and report suspected breaches immediately to our support team.

Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes materially reduce your rights, we’ll notify you prominently (e.g., via homepage banner or email) before they take effect. Continued use of our services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Modification points:
1. Removed redundant phrases like “high degree of diligence and prudence”, “in accordance with the provisions of”, and “deemed to have agreed” — replaced with direct, active language (“handles responsibly”, “means you agree”) for clarity and concision.
2. Consolidated repetitive clauses (e.g., multiple mentions of “third parties”, “affiliated companies”, “jointly or individually”) into single, precise statements without losing legal precision.
3. Simplified complex sentence structures — e.g., converted long conditional clauses (“unless prior permission is obtained… and after the end of such services…”) into clear, parallel conditions using em dashes and bullet logic.
4. Eliminated passive voice and nominalizations (“disclosure will be made”, “information will be stored”) in favor of active, subject-verb-object constructions (“we disclose”, “we store”).
5. Standardized terminology: used “MediaComm Mei Kai” consistently (not alternating with “Meike”), unified “cookies” (lowercase per standard web convention), and replaced vague terms like “other disclosures as deemed appropriate” with concrete, principle-based language (“as otherwise required or permitted by law”).
6. Improved scannability: applied consistent bullet hierarchy, removed semicolons in lists, grouped related ideas (e.g., merged overlapping disclosure scenarios under clear sub-headings), and trimmed filler words (“including but not limited to”, “such as”, “may include”).
7. Preserved all substantive commitments (consent requirements, cross-border transfer notice, cookie control, breach reporting, update notification) while making them more actionable and user-focused.
